Citizens in Charge

I ran across this on the FAILBlog website the other day, and I couldn’t help but laugh at this poor Councilman’s misfortune.  Talk about shooting yourself in the foot!

It seems that incumbent Syracuse Common Councilor Michael Heagerty was one signature short on his petition to have his name on the ballot for re-election this November.  It got worse for him however, when he realized that he forgot to sign his own petition.  Let this serve as a reminder to all you ballot measure supporters out there, double-check those signatures!
