Citizens in Charge

I just wanted to reflect on a few thoughts I had for next year, it being New Year’s Eve and all. 2010 looks to be an exciting year, and I too, am quite excited for what it will hold. I think that this coming year will be a great one for initiative & referendum rights. The nation is sick of both parties, the government and bureaucracy, and just want their voices to be heard.

In 2009, Citizens in Charge Foundation helped expand and protect the initiative & referendum rights of nearly 137 million Americans. I think we will be able to do even better in 2010. The people really do want change, but not the kind of change they got this year. They want the kind of change they control, not the government or special interest groups. So here is to celebrating a great 2009 and a look forward to an even greater 2010. Cheers.

On a personal note, my alma mater will be playing their college football bowl game this evening, so anyone who wants to cheer on the Minnesota Golden Gophers to victory over the Iowa State Cyclones, I tip my hat to you.
