Hopefully, many of you have already checked out “Is the F-Word Overused: A Report on Petition Signature Fraud” on the Citizens in Charge Foundation website.

In addition to the report, Brandon Holmes debated Ohio State Representative Jennifer Garrison at the U.S. Conference on Initiative & Referendum on the subject of petition signature fraud.

America’s ideological warriors, ranging from Ralph Nader on the left to Grover Norquist on the right, will take part, beginning Friday, in a five-day conference in San Francisco on global trends in direct democracy.

Today marks the 90th anniversary of women gaining the right to vote. On August 18th, 1920, the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified. The 19th Amendment prohibits the government from denying anyone the right to vote based on their sex; it gave women the right to vote.

The U.S. Conference on Initiative & Referendum and 2010 Global Forum were a great success. Hundreds of citizens, activists, reporters, and scholars attended.
