Citizens in Charge

It’s time for the U.S. Conference on Initiative & Referendum and the 2010 Global Forum on Modern Direct Democracy to begin. It all begins this evening with registration and a small reception to welcome speakers, activists, and most importantly citizens, to San Francisco for what is sure to be a great and informative conference.

Things began this morning for Citizens in Charge Foundation with a press conference at Hotel Bijou in San Francisco to release the findings of our reports on petition signature fraud, initiative funding in California in 2008, and a 50-state poll on public support for initiative & referendum. Paul Jacob, Brandon Holmes and Alexander Moll gave remarks to those in attendance.
