Initiative Process Proving Useful as a Means to Government Reform

Thu, Apr 22 2010 by Staff

The Tea Party movement seems to be waking up to the realization that there is an outlet for all their frustration with government. They want the government to listen to them, they want more say, more representation. Well guess what? The ballot initiative process is one of the best ways out there for Tea Party activists to make their voices heard and reform government.

There’s a story out from yesterday about Tea Party activists utilizing the ballot initiative process in their states, you can check it out here. Citizens in Charge Foundation also stopped by a few of the Tea Parties in our area last week to talk with activists about government reform and the initiative process. Most of the people we talked to were supportive of the process because if gave citizens more control over their government. You can check out the video and hear what they had to say here.

Hopefully the growing discontent with government will cause people who do not have citizen initiative rights to demand them, and it will push those who do have them to use them.

I hope America is starting to wake up , before there isn’t much left.
It is up to us to speak out , it is still legal last i checked.
We can’t just sit down all day , or we will get fat and lazy.
We owe it to our kids , to the service men and women who died for our
freedom. it is our turn to do what we know best.
We can start with rob merkle ( Merkle for congress ) 4th district norwalk , I meet him and think he is for us the little guy.
I personally follow congressman Ron Paul and think he is warning us of an imenent danger. Our counrty is in big trouble.
I pray that for good ,honest men to take office.

God bless us all mario
