Hearing in Howard County Regarding Petition Signature Verification

Mon, Nov 16 2009 by Staff

Last Friday, Citizens in Charge Foundation staff headed up to Howard County, Maryland to observe the appeals hearing regarding the rejected petition signatures at the circuit court. We previously blogged about this case here. The judge has yet to rule on the matter, and stated that it could take him several weeks.  The Baltimore Sun has a good article about the hearing here.

We chatted with a few of the plaintiffs in the case on their fight to protect their referendum rights in the state of Maryland, and a video will be posted in the near future.
